About the Scheme
Brief
MY Bharat 2.0 is an autonomous institutional framework that acts as a digital bridge between the government and the youth. It provides a "phygital" ecosystem-blending physical outreach with digital tools to enable young citizens to participate in nation-building, volunteering, and experiential learning
Objectives
- Empowerment through "Seva Bhav": To foster civic responsibility and purposeful engagement among youth
- Equitable Access: To provide youth with equal access to government opportunities, programs, and mentors
- Viksit Bharat 2047: To align youth energy with the national goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047
- Practical Learning: To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world work experience
Eligibility Criteria
- Primarily targets youth between 15 to 29 years
- Specific Sub-groups:
i. Undergraduate students: Specifically eligible for Experiential Learning Programs (ELPs)
ii. Non-students/First-time employees: Certain incentives or volunteer roles may target specific subsets like youth aged 18–25
- Must be a citizen of India
